The AI looks for forced jumps and traps, so a good move should improve mobility, protect the landing square, and avoid handing over a multi-jump chain.
Select one of your dark-square pieces, then choose a highlighted diagonal destination. Ordinary men move forward; captures happen by jumping over an adjacent enemy into the empty square beyond. If a jump is available, the rules force you to take it before making a quiet move.
You win by removing every AI piece or leaving the AI with no legal move. Each capture changes the material count immediately, while each promotion changes the endgame because kings can travel diagonally in both directions. A narrow win often comes from blocking movement, not from taking the last piece.
