Use both dice to move checkers toward the far edge, send exposed opposing checkers home, and bear off all five first.
Backgammon Sprint compresses the classic race into twelve points and five checkers per side. Teal travels from the first point toward the far edge, while coral runs in the opposite direction. Two dice define the available distances each turn. Landing on a point occupied by exactly one opposing checker hits that blot and sends it back home, turning a simple race into a choice between speed and interference.
Click a teal point to select a checker, then click a destination matching one unused die. Keyboard and mobile players can cycle through legal die moves and confirm with Space, Enter, or OK. A turn continues while another die still has a legal use. The center display shows both dice, marks spent dice with dots, and reports how many checkers each side has borne off.
Moving a checker earns modest progress points, hitting an exposed blot earns a tactical bonus, and bearing a checker off produces the largest repeatable reward. The first side to bear off all five wins. Best stores the strongest local score, so a clean race with several timely hits will outrank a slow escape even when both attempts end in victory.
Use both dice as one plan instead of two isolated moves. Before advancing the front checker, check whether the rear checker can occupy the point it leaves. A lone checker is vulnerable, but a stack of two or more blocks the opponent. Hit when it also improves your route; chasing every blot can leave your own formation scattered and delay the bearing-off phase.
On a narrow phone, the triangular points are easier to read in landscape, but portrait still supports the legal-move cycle. Watch the unused dice display before confirming a move, because the second die may belong to a different checker. Single taps are safer than double taps. If source and target feel crowded, use arrows and OK to select an exact legal move without covering the point counts.
