Build orbital wards around a core while random spirals and shield stalls disrupt the rhythm.
Orbit Shield is a circular defense game. Enemies arc around the core instead of marching through a grid, so the strongest towers are the ones that cover long orbital stretches. The opening minute is calm and generous. Then random events can create spiral rushes, shield stalls, or inner thieves that make the same circle feel much smaller.
Place orbital wards on pads around the route. Use U to upgrade wards that cover tight curves. This variant slows enemies, which makes timing valuable: a slow ward before a dense arc gives later wards more shots.
Score rewards destroyed objects, remaining core shield, and survival through pressure events. Normal runs randomize event timing and the hardcore trigger, while debug remains stable. In hardcore, shield recovery effectively stops and fast objects push toward the core at a much less comfortable pace.
Start with two wards on opposite sides of the orbit. Upgrade the one before the longest curve. If a shield stall event appears, stop experimenting and strengthen your existing ring. If meteor flock appears, build where the flock is still grouped, not after it spreads.
On phones, orbit pads can feel close together, so the selector is useful. The first minute should feel almost meditative; the later curve is intentionally rude without becoming unreadable. In this version, the events to respect most are spiral rush, shield stall, inner thief. If one of them is less than half a minute away, delay cosmetic expansion and keep enough resource for one decisive build or upgrade.
