Overview

Every visible piece belongs to the rule system rather than a decorative animation. Debug mode chooses genuine legal actions and continuously produces changing gameplay for previews. Reset creates a fresh puzzle and clears the current run without deleting the best result stored in this browser. render_game_to_text reports the board, cursor, score, chain, remaining choices, and autoplay flag for browser checks.

Controls

On phones, all three controls remain at least forty-four pixels high and sit below the active board. When the board grows crowded, prioritize the move that opens space or reveals structure. The game rejects actions that do not satisfy its own geometry, leaving the current position intact. Press Space, Enter, or the center action button to exchange adjacent jewels only when the move forms a valid run.

Scoring and Progress

Jewel Cascade is an endless puzzle built around orthogonal jewel swaps create matches before gravity refills empty cells. Use Left and Right or the large arrow buttons to move the highlighted choice. Ratings rise from deliberate successful resolutions, not from merely tapping quickly. Compare what becomes available afterward and preserve several useful choices.

Strategy Tips

A stalled position reshuffles instead of trapping the player behind a permanent game-over overlay. The board is live from the moment the page loads, with no start screen or timer. Legal moves add points immediately, while stronger combinations increase the chain value shown in the HUD. A resolved board immediately creates another position, so practice continues while the local best score records efficient decisions across repeated layouts.

Mobile Play

Read the whole position before committing the highlighted move. Scoring rewards cascade depth, cross matches, and target colors. Small repeatable gains are safer than a flashy action that leaves no legal continuation.
