How to Play

Grow plant defenders, protect the garden bed, and survive weather-driven pressure events.

This inserted TD batch uses a shared random difficulty curve: the first minute is forgiving, pressure events vary by seed, and hardcore mode arrives in a late ten-minute window.

Game Guide

Overview

Garden Guard is softer in theme but not in structure. You defend a living garden with plant towers that grow from sun resources. The first minute gives generous sun and slow pests so the board feels friendly. Then the weather becomes unreliable: clouds reduce income, night pests arrive in clusters, and shell bugs demand upgraded plants instead of more weak sprouts.

Controls

Click open soil pads to plant defenders. Arrow controls move the selected pad, OK plants, and U upgrades. Plant towers slow enemies, making placement near bends more valuable than raw quantity. The garden core can take a few leaks early, but later pressure events make every missed pest matter.

Scoring and Progress

Your score rewards pest clears, healthy garden life, and survival time. The difficulty seed chooses when weather and pest events happen, so two normal runs do not share the same curve. Hardcore arrives somewhere around the ten-minute window, then sun becomes tighter and pests move like the garden has turned hostile overnight.

Strategy Tips

Start with coverage at the longest bend, then upgrade one slow plant before spreading too wide. Keep sun in reserve when the next event is close, because a cloud cover event can leave you unable to react. If burrowers appear, use upgrades over new plants; they need concentrated damage before they reach the bed.

Mobile Play

On phones, the game is easiest when you use the controls instead of tapping tiny soil pads. Watch the countdown. The calm first minute is bait in a fair way: it teaches the route before the garden starts testing whether the layout actually scales. In this version, the events to respect most are cloud cover, night pests, fast beetles. If one of them is less than half a minute away, delay cosmetic expansion and keep enough resource for one decisive build or upgrade.
