Overview

The help overlay can be opened without pausing into a separate start screen, and play resumes continuously. Keyboard players can use the arrow keys with Space or Enter, while touch players get three large controls. After a miss, make one conservative attempt to recover timing before taking maximum risk again. render_game_to_text reports the rally mode, position, target, power, wind, ball, score, streak, best, and autoplay state.

Controls

A legal result earns a base award, a streak bonus, and extra credit for accurate back court. Reset clears the current score and streak but preserves the best result stored on this device. Use the field lines to estimate boundary depth instead of following only the moving ball. Build a repeatable rhythm at moderate front court before chasing the narrowest scoring area.

Scoring and Progress

Debug mode reads the changing clear height and performs real input through the same scoring path. Higher ratings require repeated command of smash timing, not random rapid tapping or idle survival. Use Left and Right to adjust shuttle drag, then hold Action to build front court and release to play. Play starts immediately, so read the moving target and field markings before committing an input.

Strategy Tips

Mastery comes from predicting how shuttle drag, front court, and boundary depth combine before release. The live rule set models shuttle drag, front court, back court, clear height, smash timing, boundary depth; those elements change each attempt instead of decorating a generic shot. Watch shuttle drag and clear height together; correcting only one usually creates a different miss.
